Basic Strategy - A strategy used in Blackjack to determine what your action (hit, Stand, Double, Split) should be by compairing your hand value to the value of the dealers up card. Each different type of Blackjack has its own Basic Strategy and can dramatically shift the odds towards the player. If used perfectly Basic Strategy could make the odds almost even or slightly in the players favour.
